How to Free Up Storage on Android
Running out of phone storage can make everyday tasks frustrating. A few built-in checks can help you find what is using space.
Start with the basics
Open your phone’s Settings and look for Storage. Review large files, downloaded media and apps you no longer use. Menu names vary by Android version and manufacturer.
Practical steps
Photos and videos are often large. Review old downloads and duplicate media before deleting anything important. You can also uninstall apps you no longer need.
